Family Focus: My New Favorite Way to Photograph My Kids

Family photos have changed thanks to the Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera. It’s not just a camera…it’s the camera I now rely on to capture all of my family memories.

When I say “family memories,” I’m not just talking about those random family photos you try to capture before church or heading out for a fun hike.

No! I’m talking about those moments you wish you could capture – like your child’s smiling face sledding down a hill – but never could without a good enough camera.

Getting great shots of fast-moving children is easy with the Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera.

Action shots are ideal for the G7 due to its ability to record video that can be transformed into individual still images using 4K PHOTO Mode. I literally got this camera in the mail on Friday, charged the battery and took it out for a test run on Saturday while we were sledding.

Here’s proof that my husband can be the biggest kid of all.

I simply turned the dial to 4K PHOTO Mode, pointed, clicked, and the camera took a video with dozens of little snapshots that I was able to pick and keep as photos.

So in other words, with 4K PHOTO Mode, you’re able to take a 4K video and then pull still photos out of that video to ensure you always get the perfect shot.

I was able to capture so many great photos while sledding that I just had to share them all.

I love my family. I will cherish these photos forever.

The Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera also includes a swiveled touch-screen rear monitor so I can easily zoom in to see my photos right after I take them, making sure they’re focused on exactly what I want. Never again will I be just a second too late when trying to get that perfect photo of my family.
